Judo has been an Olympic sport since 1964. Dr. Kano was a physician of anatomy and paid close attention to body mechanics and how easily it is to imbalance someone without an excess of force. From this came Judo, which focuses on the mechanical method of using the opponent’s force to convert an attack into defeat by throw or submission. 

Hayashi’s Martial Arts is the only Judo school in El Paso that teaches traditional Judo and has a history of several wins.
