(You may register in person Friday, Sept. 27th) Online registrations CLOSE Sept. 26 at MIDNIGHT.
You MUST weigh in at the Evaga Desert Kitchen at The Elmont Resort on Friday, September 27th.
There will be no registration/weigh-ins on the day of the tournament. Deadline for registrations/weigh-ins for Adults & Youth Friday, September 27th at 7 pm

Referee MEETING: 8 am at the tournament location
Coaches Meeting: 8:30 am at tournament location
Tournament Start: Saturday, September 28th, 2024, promptly at 9:15 am. Doors will open at 7 am. Starting with the Kid’s divisions 5yrs-16yrs old following the adults’ divisions. Gi divisions are fighting first in kids & adults.
This is a Double Elimination tournament. If you lose twice, you are out of the division. If there are two competitors in a division, the winner will be determined by the best 2 out of 3 matches.
Awards: Gold, silver, and bronze custom-designed medals for each division. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Team Trophies, and samurai swords awards for best technique and sportsmanship for youth and adult divisions.
Gi: Competitors may use a Jujitsu gi or a Judo gi to compete. There will be NO two-toned gi’s allowed (ex: black top
with white bottoms). Rashguards will be allowed under gi’s.
No- Gi: Tops- rashguards; either short sleeve or long sleeve. No singlets allowed!
Bottoms- spats with grappling shorts or only grappling shorts. There will be no shorts allowed with pockets.
Guys must wear grappling shorts to compete.
NO metal or hard plastic will be
allowed on the mat (ex: bobby pins/rings/necklaces/bracelets/knee brace/elbow
brace/ankle brace with hard metal)
Entry fees: $75 per division. $10 spectator fee. Cash, checks, or any major credit cards are accepted. Make checks payable to Hayashi’s Martial Arts Academy.
All fighters must bow in at the
beginning of the match, and end of the match. All fighters will shake hands
after matches.
Absolutely NO yelling or arguing with any of the judges or staff members will be tolerated! Obscene gestures, foul language, and unnecessary comments will not be allowed! Coaches are ONLY allowed to coach their team. If you fail to abide by these rules, you or the competitor will be disqualified and eliminated from the tournament completely and will be asked to leave.
Divisions:
All divisions are determined at the time of weigh-ins and are subject to modification based on entries. Each skill, gender, and age category will be separated into weight divisions, such as: light, middle, and heavy. All decisions by the tournament director are final.
